Alex I. Moussa, O.D.
Alex I. Moussa, O.D. graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science (Pre-Med) Biology and then attended Nova Southeastern (NSU) University, College of Optometry where he received his Bachelor of Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees. He was a member of the NSU Optometry Honors Program, the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and received academic distinction by being named to both the Dean’s and President’s Lists. His training includes a residency at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center and internships at the Miami Veterans Affair Hospital and the Aker-Kasten Eye Center. Dr. Moussa joined the Eye Center in 2020 and specializes in family eye care for children, teens and adults, contact lens fittings, specialty contact lenses and the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.
Dr. Moussa is married with one child and a dog. In his free time, he enjoys sports, traveling, being active outdoors and spending time with his family.
