Paul E. Garland, M.D., Ophthalmologist, graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans in 1981. After his internship at Tulane in 1982, he served as Second Lt. in the National Health Service Corps for 2 years. He then did his Ophthalmology residency from 1984-1987 at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He then completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas Hermann Eye Center in 1987-88. He is board-certified and specializes in LenSx Custom Laser and No-shot, No-Stitch, microincision cataract surgery, as well as Oculoplastic surgery, both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is the only fellowship-trained eye plastic surgeon in Bay County. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society for Cataract & Refractive Surgery, Florida Medical Association, and the Bay County Medical Society, to name a few. After practicing 14 years in Tallahassee and Colorado, he joined The Eye Center practice in 2002.
